Climbing the Couch Slide

One of Taylor's favorite activites is to make the couch cushions into a slide and come barrelling down them. It's slightly dangerous but Brandon thought it was time for Callie to get introduced to this "extreme sport". She ended up loving it as you can see on the Video.

"These are a few of my favorite things..."

Is playing with dirt not one of the BEST forms of entertainment for children of all ages? Callie really loves it and contirbuted in making this big mess on our sidewalk. When I picked her up to go inside she started screaming as if I had done her some terrible injustice. Taylor really was the biggest contibuter to this mess but I didn't stop her evern though she would of if I asked. Childhood is for getting dirty! Callie's newest favorite thing is playing with the play kitchen set. She actually moved a box next to the kitchen and then stood on it so that she could reach the top...smart little cookie at 11 months! This is about one of the only things that really cheers up Callie after getting her out of the bath. She goes immediately to the window and begins pounding on it and yelling for the dogs..."Dogs...Dogs....Dogs..."

Our Newest Frames Built by Us

This is a picture of the Prophet Joseph playing in a river with some kids. We love seeing a depiction of Joseph having fun and being with children!
This frame is made out of birds eye maple with walnut caps on each side (all done by hand).

This picture of Mary kissing her sweet little baby Jesus may be our new favorite. We got both of these prints (Mary print is actually signed by artist Liz Lemmon Swindle) at the youth ward auction. This frame is again made out of the birds eye maple and walnut, just arranged differently. We love them both and are excited to have them hanging in our home because of the sweet Spirit each picture and frame brings.

Sister Fun

On Mother's Day we were enjoying the nice weather in our backyard, while Dinner was cooking. (Which by the way, Brandon made all by himself...including modifying the recipe....and it turned out great!) Callie was in the baby swing and I remembered that when Taylor was about Callie's age she loved to spin in the swing so I thought I'd give it a try. Well Callie LOVED it! And Taylor decided she needed to be in charge of the spinning. It's pretty funny because both girls laugh so hard every time they do it.

Happy Birthday Nana!!!!!

We had so much fun making this little video for you...but it is a small way for us to tell you how much you mean to our family and how much we love you! We look forward to the day when we can be there in person to tell you these things, but until then,

Happy Birthday Nana and We Love You!

Love Always,

Brandon, Tina, Taylor, & Callie

P.S. Make sure you turn off the music on the actual blog (hit the "pause" button with two lines to the black music box in the top right of the screen) so that you can hear the actual music that goes with your first music video!

Happy Mother's Day Mom!

Mom,

We are so happy to have you as our mommy! You are the reason for our smiles, learning, happiness, growth, and development and for this we wanted to make you a little photo story of our last two hikes with you and daddy. Happy Mother's Day and just know that you are the best mom we could ever have asked for!

Love,

Taylor Marie and Callie Jean

Tina,

I had no idea the girls put this together. You really are doing a great job teaching them things...I didn't even know you could teach girls 3 and under how to use blogspot...but with you, their learning is without limit. Truly you are a beautiful mom and a great wife. I hope you enjoy your day of being served!

Love Always,

Your Main Squeeze

Happy 28th Birthday Brandon!

Happy Birthday Brandon, you are one attractive man and I am so lucky to have you! You make my life filled with joy. It is so wonderful to have your best friend beside you, always supporting you and never belittling you. When we were engaged and when we were newlyweds we often would write letters to one another. Looking back at what I wrote was kinda funny because I always said something like "You Rock!","You are Amazing!"or "You're Awesome!" While I wasn't overly creative in my words then, I still feel the same way. You are an incredible husband and father. I am so happy you are all mine. I love you, Happy Birthday Brandon!
I can't believe it's been 28 years since this chunky little baby was born. Wasn't he so cute...wait, he still is!
Here is a picture of Brandon's 2nd birthday (I'm guessing?)It looks like everyone is ready to dig into the cake!
"Happy Birthday Daddy, we love you! You are the greatest Daddy in the World!"

Congratulations Brandon!

Well, Brandon has sure come a long way since his kindergarten graduation!(what a cutie!)

Brandon was beaming after receiving his Masters Degree in Family and Human Development from Utah State University, and we are so proud of him!

This is right after Brandon was officially "hooded" as a Master! This is also the first time Taylor spotted her Dad during the ceremony and she was ex static. She kept saying during the ceremony "I want My Daddy!"

Here is Brandon receiving his Diploma from Stan Albrect, President of Utah State University. Sorry the picture is a little blurry...I struggled taking pictures while holding Callie!

Congratulations Brandon! You are amazing! You put so much effort into gaining this monumental achievement and we are so proud of you! I'm so grateful that you are such a stellar example to our girls. We are so thrilled that you are done and VERY excited to spend more time with you! We Love You!
