First, we just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Easter. Secondly, we wanted to share a little thought from our family to yours. After Taylor collected her plastic eggs, we got in a circle and began to open them one by one. In most of the eggs there was a little piece of candy. But three of the eggs were different. In one egg was a set of scriptural verses that we turned to and read about the life, ministry, atonement, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the next egg was a picture of Christ. We talked about how Christ was placed in a tomb as His burial place. The final egg was empty and it was cute how Taylor immediately got ready to throw this egg on the floor as she declared, "all gone." I grabbed her hand and said that this was a special egg. We had such a special experience as we talked about how glad we were that this egg was empty because it represented the empty tomb of the Savior when He was resurrected. It is this thought that we wish to share with all. As each of us both individually and as families go through our seperate hardships, the only empty feeling or place should be the tomb in which our Savior left behind. Because He is risen, we too can rise above our trials, sorrows, loses, and difficult times. How grateful we are for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and that because of Him, we can truly be together as a family, FOREVER!!

Springville High Easter Egg Hunt
Thanks to the Boyle's, we learned that our own wonderful city of Springville holds an annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids at Springville High School. We got on the internet Saturday morning and found out that it started at 9am (it was about 8:15 when we found this out!). We got the girls ready and "cute" and headed out the door. Well, when we got there, the Boyle's found us and told us that the little kids part didn't start till 10am....so we followed them to McDonald's where they treated us to breakfast (Katie's father owns all the McDonald's from Provo to Springville).
Anyways, after that long introduction, we finally made it back to Springville High and put Taylor right behind the white line awaiting the caller's announcement to start the egg hunt. Once he did, Taylor was off gathering and picking up as many peices of candy (no eggs) as she could! She was so cute doing it too!

Easter Egg Fun!
Taylor was pretty excited about dying eggs this year....we decided to be safe and remove the clothes!
We thought it would be a good idea to get Callie to hold one of the eggs for the picture. Turns out it wasn't such a good idea because she dropped it right away! Taylor on the other hand did a great job of holding the eggs on the spoon, we were pretty impressed with her (she didn't break a single egg, which is more than her Mom can say!)
My cute family!
The Final Product, now what do we do with all those hard boiled eggs?!

Lets Go Fly a Kite!
With all the windy weather we've been having, it gave Brandon the opportunity to show Taylor how to fly a kite. He bought her a pink Barbie kite for $1.00 and it actually works pretty good.
Taylor is flying her kite "All by myself!"
Over the last few weeks we have been spending more time outside in the backyard with Callie and Taylor. Callie loves swinging in her swing but at first she wasn't so sure about our 2 dogs, Cracker and Losha. Because the dogs are outside dogs only, she really hasn't been around them much in her 9 months of life. She would get kind of panicky when they came around, probably because she didn't know what to think of them. However, in the last few days she has really taken a liking to them. In this picture she moved her walker from the other side of the kitchen so she could see the dogs!
As you can see here Cracker has stooped to the level of stealing candy from a baby, or I guess cheerios!

Callie's 9 month Check-up
Taylor has become quite interested in playing Doctor as of late. She likes to pretend she has hurt her foot or belly. It's pretty funny. So when I told her we were going to take Callie to the Doctor today she was pretty excited!
Callie wasn't quite as excited about having a Doctor appointment!
Callie is turning into a skinny mini, just like her sister did at this age!
Callie 9 month Stats:
Weight: 16lbs 2 oz 12th Percentile
Height: 27.5 in. 54th Percentile
The doctor isn't concerned about her weight so I'm not either. When we went to the doctor last month (the double ear infection incident) I had noticed Callie had a cyst thing on the back of her head. The Doctor said we should watch it for a month, but nothing had changed. He thinks it is just a subcutaneous cyst that's nothing to worry about but we need to continue to watch if it grows or changes in any way.
Callie was a champ for her hemoglobin test, when they pricked her little toe she made one little whimper and that was the end of it! All in all she is a healthy baby and I am so grateful for that! I love my sweet girls...being a mom is the greatest job in the world!

Christmas 2007
This was our first snowman of the year and boy did Taylor enjoy making it. It seemed like everyday she wanted to make another one and with all the snow we received this year, we probably could have done it too!
Tina and Callie sure look cute in front of our Christmas Tree that had snow literally melting all over our carpet...yipee!
Say cheese (yeah right) Logan, Abie, Callie & Taylor! This fantastic (sarcasm) picture was taken at Nana & Popa Goss' home.
A fun reinactment of the Naitivity at the Hunt home...Callie ate the sheep...well she was the sheep, so I guess she was eating herself? Weird.
To sum up our Christmas, Taylor poses for some fun snow time which she got plenty of.
