Our New House!

This is our new home in Spanish Fork. Sorry that we didn't post too many pictures but if you want to see more you have to come by for a visit (and bring cookies!). The first picture is our view from the 4th terrace. We love our new home!

Going Back to Cali, to Cali...

Sorry for the LL Cool J reference for our title, but hey, we're kind of ol school. With the sale of our house and the purchase of our new one causing just about as much anxiety as one could imagine, we decided Thursday night to leave the next day and go to Ventura California. Tina's brother (Joe--THANKS AGAIN!) rented out a beachouse there and we had forgotten about it all due to the whole house thing. But when things started going wrong (they are all good now--kind of), we just had to get out of town.

We stopped in St. George first and enjoyed some wonderful time on Temple grounds. We love this temple!

Brandon attempted to surf and did alright being that it was his first time! He really did good on the boogy board but just never really could stay standing on the surf board.

On the way home from Cali, we stopped in Las Vegas at the Circus Circus Hotel. We have never felt so close to Sodom & Gomora as we did here! Nevertheless, it was fun walking down the strip and seeing all the cool shows. The girls especially enjoyed the indoor amusement park at our hotel. All in all, it was a great trip and very needed. I cannot emphasize enough how needed it was!

Water Fun for the Whole Crew

Since we have had so much nice weather lately, Taylor is always asking to go swimming. While we haven't made it to the pool yet we have had lots of fun playing with water in the backyard. (I'm not sure why Taylor insists on wearing the floaties!)

Since Beckett isn't quite big enough to enjoy getting wet in the backyard we decided he could have his fun in the tub, since his belly button stump finally fell off. He seemed a bit confused by the whole experience but was a pretty good sport. He started crying after about 2 minutes...but he was all clean by then. His sisters were very excited about him getting in the tub and probably can't wait until they all can get in together! (Although, I'm not sure that's such a great idea :)

More Beckett!

Callie wasn't really interested in Beckett the first days....but now she demands to hold him and kiss him. If we ever refuse, we get a full on 2 year old tantrum!

We took Beckett to Sacrament meeting last Sunday....no one ever saw him as he slept through the whole thing. Doesn't he look cute though?
