Dance Recital

My wonderful neighbor, Lori, has been teaching a FREE dance class to my girls and the other girls in the neighborhood for the past 8 months. The girls loved getting dressed up for dance every week. To show off what they have learned they had a recital which also doubled as a fundraiser for a young boy in our community who is very sick. It was a wonderful night and I was so impressed with all the kids talent who participated. Callie kind of stole the show with her funny antics...she was jumping around and having a grand time performing for everyone! I was laughing out loud the entire time.
Taylor did a great job....doing the dances almost perfect. She loves dancing and I don't think this is the last time she'll be up on the big stage!

Beckett loved clapping for all the performances!

This is the girls practicing outside the theater before they got on stage.

Daddy & Son Birthday's!

For Brandon & Beckett's birthday, we did an array of things. The pictures are in reverse order though. We started by going fishing at a nearby lake where we managed to be the only ones out there that didn't catch a fish...oh well. Next we headed up to SLC to watch the Bee's play. Then we had a nice dinner and cake with some neighborhood friends. Beckett is mostly walking by now and is just enjoying the liberty of going where he wants a little quicker! This really is a great month!

Our Little Pre-School Grad!

We are so proud of Taylor. She graduated from Pre-School at Maple Mountain's Pre-School program that lasted from February to May. She went every other day for an hour and a half. It was run by a students with a teacher watching over them. Each day Taylor would come home and share every thing she learned: letters, numbers, animals, holidays, etc. We can't beleive our little girl is getting so big! We just found out that kindergarten in Colorado Springs is all-day so this was definitely good preparation for her. Go Taylor!
